Seung-Tak Noh (Seungtak Noh), Ph.D.
Seung-Tak Noh is an Assistant Professor at Tokyo University of Technology. He graduated from Yamanashi University, Japan in 2010, and obtained an M.Sc. and a Ph.D. degree from the department of computer science at the University of Tokyo, Japan in 2012 and 2020. His research interests include procedural modeling from real-world images, geometric processing algorithms, and mixed reality systems to achieve the natural and intuitive editing of a 3D model from the real world.
Before pursuing a Ph.D. degree, he went back to South Korea to accomplish military service. During his obligation, he worked as a research scientist in UVR Lab., in KAIST (Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology), until the end of 2015. In this period, he mainly contributed to the MR (Mixed Reality) systems based on HMD (Head-Mounted Display) for real-world interaction.
